Message from Isabelle Chan-Emery and Elisabeth Avery, BPK undergraduate Students:
My name is Isabelle Chan-Emery and alongside fellow BPK student Elisabeth Avery, I am currently completing a co-op work term at a medical clinic in Nepal. Our clinic would like to host a 1-day Health Camp where we offer free healthcare services to 300+ impoverished individuals. Since our clinic is non-profit and non-governmental, the Health Camp is administered on behalf of generous donations. We have created an informative video to raise awareness of the situation and our fundraising initiative, as well as a GoFundMe page. We would greatly appreciate it if fellow BPK students and staff could help spread the word and/or donate to this life-changing cause!

Rehab Sciences Alumni Panel Q & A
On February 2nd OzTREKK will be hosting a Rehab Science panel event downtown Vancouver at the Sheraton Wall Center at 1 pm. During the event you will hear from SFU graduates who studied Physiotherapy in Australia and are now practicing in Canada. In attendance will also be Australian University representatives that can answer your questions about specific programs like Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Chiro. Come out to this event that is hosted only once a year!
Careers in BPK
The Careers in BPK event will be on January 23rd from 4-8pm in the Applied Science Atrium. There will be an exhibitor fair, speaker sessions, dinner and prizes. Speaker sessions consist of physiotherapy, medicine, occupational therapy, and pedorthics.The cost of entry is $2. If you can only come later because of class or something, that’s totally okay!
