Meeting Minutes Thursday, August 5th, 2021
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 6:30pm by Simran in a Zoom Virtual Meeting. Minimum quorum of 4 executive members reached.

Open Issues:
1) Approval of Previous Minutes
– Josh motioned to approve the meeting minutes of 2021-07-29. Dawnie seconded.
Minutes approved unanimously.
2) SUS Updates
- – Declassified School Survival Event
o The BPKSA’s contribution will take place August 25th from 6-8pm
- – Common Room Campaign letter was signed on behalf of the BPKSA
3) BPK 101
- – Date: Thursday, September 16
- – Will be held over zoom
– Finalize tentative event schedule
o Activities:

• Pop-culture or BPK-themed?

– Volunteers needed to run activities
o We’ll go with pop-culture or another general knowledge theme

- Winning group members would win $10 gift cards each
o BPK peer mentors will help with this

o We will apply for a grant instead of funding fully from core

– Motion to approve grant for BPK 101
4) Clothing Sales
- – Designs for clothing
o We will consider switching out the heart T-shirt design for a new/different design
- – Clothing Sales will take place online in Fall semester
5) BPKSA 2021/22 Timeline
– What are our goals moving forward?
o Send out clothing sale order form in September o Trivia or games night in September
o October:

o We will need to contact them to see how an online event would work
• Snacks in the Longue (Cookie Break)

Josh motioned to approve $15 from core toward funding for the BPK 101 Grant of $150. Donnie seconded.
