3) Clothing Sales

  • –  We are waiting for shipping boxes from Staples
  • –  We ordered 75 boxes and have only received 254) Discover BPK
  • –  We are planning to host 2x 40 minute panel discussions. The discussions will be morefree-form, so speaking candidates don’t have to prepare a presentation. A moderator

from the BPKSA will lead the discussions.

  • –  The mix of professionals for each panel and the order of panels was discussed

o Option 1: Less well-known career paths first, then traditional career paths in the second panel (PT, OT, Medicine)

▪ Benefits: questions referring to general career choices maybe more easily asked to a panel where the speakers had similar educational and career choices. There is a more streamlined theme for each panel. We could have the panel with traditional Kin professionals speak second to incentivize students to show up to the first panel. We could organize the event to give more time to the traditional career paths, which in the past have attracted a larger audience.

▪ Cons: it might be difficult to incentivize students to show up to a panel with lesser-known careers, and the idea of the event is to expose students to as many career paths as possible.

o Option 2: Have a mix of traditional career paths (PT, OT, Medicine) and less traditional career paths between 2 panels

  • ▪  This mix may incentivize students to stay for the whole event.
  • ▪  If one panelist is being asked more questions, then members of theBPKSA can actively try to even-out the discussion with pre-prepared

    questions.

  • –  We will allow students to enter/leave the event at any time, but strongly suggest theyarrive early and stay for the duration of the event.
