- In the future we can pursue this event/ challenge again when we go back in person butnot in March, fall instead since March will be devoted to Kin Cup.
3) Princeton Review MMI session:
- To take place on, April 1st at 5:00pmo Princeton review will handle the sign up themselves
- We need at least 15 people
- Maddy and Rose will signal boost the event
4) P/F credit:
- BPK will not be extending it to other courses, neither will other programs in the facultyof science
o They are following instructions from University.
o Most departments are not extending it beyond electives. - Not extending it because it will inflate grades for grad school, it makes it harder for them to evaluate the “readiness to move on”.
- Elective grade system will last from spring 2021 to Fall 2021, additional information can be found on the SFU website.
- We will wait and see how this plays out this semester.5) Year End Party:
- Check-in with faculty: 4 people picked 29th and three people picked 4th of April. Most did not have a preference. We will proceed with April 29th.
- Using Spatial chat, might submit a grant to be able to get an account for the BPKSA. o Ben will look into whether we need to get our own account or borrow fromResearch day.
- For food reimbursements, aiming to get $20 for around 50 individuals (may not befeasible)
o Might get some from grant and some from our own funding - Using $50 for prizing from grant money or core funding.
- Not motioning for the grant yet because we need to figure out all of the financialchoices yet
6)SFSS Updates:
• SFU Black caucus rejected the Mackay report on the Dec 11 dining hall incident
