Opening:
Meeting Minutes Thursday May 13th, 2021
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 6:30pm by Ben in Zoom Virtual Meeting. Minimum quorum of 4 executive members reached.

Open Issues:
1) Approval of Previous Minutes
– Sarra motioned to approve the meeting minutes of 2021-04-30. Richelle seconded.
Minutes approved unanimously.
2) Executive Positions:
– Executive Position available as Student Space Coordinator (open to all BPKSA members)
o Aman Dhami would like to take up the position!
o A poll was conducted to elect Aman as Student Space Coordinator. BPKSA
members present at today’s meeting were unanimously in favor.
3) Constitution:
– Discuss possible amendments to allowing more accountability for BPKSA roles.
o Probably no need for a specific number of warnings
▪ Others think number of warnings would be good
o Probably 2/3 or more of the BPKSA would need to be in favor of impeachment o Potentially we could considering adding a training period for new execs
4) Clubs Day:
- – Clubs day is Wednesday May 26th
- – Should try to have at least one person in the booth between 11:00 and 6:00
- – Need to be active minimum 4 hours (does not need to be consecutive)
- – If you’re interested in helping out, please fill out the Doodle5) Summer Events / Engagement:
– Any events/activities we would like to do?
o BPK Strava (a running app) – whoever walks or runs the most distance wins / gets prizes
- ▪ We could have various winners
- ▪ We could also do hiking challenges ie. looking at elevation gain
- ▪ This event could be 1-2 weeks in duration
- ▪ Or we could do a whole month (or the whole semester) and have adifferent challenge each week
- We could have smaller prizes and a grand prize
- This depends on how much funding we get
o Planning for fall events will happen as we get closer to the end of summer – Bi-weekly or weekly meetings?
o The BPKSA members votes unanimously in favor of having bi-weekly meetings. We will continue with bi-weekly meetings over the Summer semester.
6) Miscellaneous:
– Simran may send out an email to execs in the next few weeks to ask for a short bio and
picture so that the BPKSA website can be updated with the new executive members. Please watch out for this email!
