Opening:
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 11:30am by Crystal in the BPK Conference Room. Minimum quorum of 4 executive members reached.

Open Issues:
1) Approval of Previous Minutes
- Jaskarn motioned to approve the meeting minutes of 2018-01-30. Emily P seconded. Minutes approved unanimously
2) Kin Rep Election
- Nicole Whittle ran for the Kinesiology Department Representative position. Nicole was voted in unanimously
3) Rock Climbing Social
- 10 people have registered so far
- A reminder will be sent out tomorrow morning
4) BPK Clothing
- SFSS logo is expensive to print because it is a minimum of 2 colours
- BCAK sponsorship will give us $500, the equivalent of 19 shirts for free
- $22.80 per shirt including tax (if ordering 24-35)
- $22.80 x 24 = $547.20 + $60 screen set up fee = $607.20
- We will order 24 shirts with the heart design + BCAK logo
- Order form has been drafted and will be sent out later today
5) Science Career Development Event
- They would like 1 or 2 speakers from each department for the speed mentoring activity
- We reviewed the list of people that were mentioned when brainstorming potential speakers for the Careers in BPK event
- Joanne Wong and Amy Singleton were not contacted about speaking at Careers in BPK, so we will ask them if they are interested in speaking at the Science Career Development event
6) Kin Cup
- The East gym was not available March 20-23 or March 27-30
- Department review is March 7-9
- Kin Games is March 24-25
- March 12-16 is the ideal week
- Emily B has a class with Tony tomorrow and will ask him to bring it up in Thursday’s department meeting
- After assessing the professors’ availability, we will contact SFU Rec for available gym times
