Opening:
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 11:30am by Crystal in the BPK Conference Room.

Open Issues:
1) SFU Passion Club
-Ignite Your Passion Conference 2017
-Early bird tickets $15 (pay before June 30)
-Regular tickets $25, at the door $30
-6 Speakers including Angela Brooks-Wilson, director of Health and Counselling
-Asked us to advertise conference in an email to BPK undergrad students
-Event largely unrelated to BPK
-Decided against email, want to keep promotion about BPK
-Will put blurb in Weekly Digest – speak to Sonya about this
2) Travel Funding/Kin Games
-In the past, we have contributed $1200 for travel funding
-Will wait until we receive funding in Fall to make a decision
3) BPK Course Planning Flowcharts
-Flow chart is still confusing and intimidating – would not stop to look at this if displayed in the hallway
-May be good for identify pre-requisites for courses they want to take later
-Not good for planning which courses necessary to graduate
-Addition of colour is good
4) Summer Kin Cup
-Richard has not confirmed July 5th with faculty members
-Assuming proposed date is okay
-SFU Rec deadline to book is approaching
-Emily B will book field for Summer Kin Cup Wednesday July 5th from 7:30-9:30pm
-Classroom presentations – ideally start next week
