Opening
- The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 11:31am on March 2, 2011 in AQ5038 by Torny Hansen-Bubnick.
In Attendance
- Torny, Matt, Amanda B., Eric, Steven, Amanda W., Nav, Marissa, Ella, Brent, Lauren, Casey, and Sandra
Approval of Agenda
- The agenda was unanimously approved as distributed.
Approval of Minutes
- The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as distributed.
Open Issues
- Kin Cup
- highest turn-out we’ve had for profs
- let profs know by the end of Oct so they can have time to “train”
- food (less sugar)
- granola bars, veggie plates, oranges
- tables for food
- needs to be put in the contract
- gym was better (East) than Central
- Students didn’t know about the event
- Don’t know how much engraving is yet
- Years: Spring 2011 – Students; Fall 2009/10? – Students; Fall 2007 – Profs; 2008 – Profs
- Motion to reimburse Matt for parking
- Motion passes unanimously
- Part of the food cost in previous minutes ($150)
- Sun Run
- need 10 people —> we only have 8
- Clothing
- Have ~70 orders
- total cash intake ~$3500
- profits will be given at next meeting
- Year-end Event
- We have ~$500 from core account
- can try and get a grant for it
- for both students and profs because of lack of Year-End Party past two years
- prefer having it before exams
- aim for April 8
- expect 50-75 people
- Start advertising now
- get finalized details and email to Torny
- need to know by next meeting
- incentive: wear kin clothing and get extra entry into door prize

- try and get some from anywhere/everywhere
