Navigating Research in BPK Info Session

Hello Everyone! The BPK Student Association is SUPER EXCITED to announce we are hosting a very highly demanded research info-session for undergraduate students on Thursday November 16th 2:30 – 4:30 pm. Navigating Research in BPK is a panel style info-session which will be taking place in-person in the SFU Big Data Hub located in ASB 10900. We are organizing this event to bring light to the amazing research done by the experienced professors in our department and ways in which BPK undergraduate students can get involved. We would love to have you be a part of it.

Information you will hear about will include; each professors introduction, their area of research, what their lab does, and ways (you) undergraduate students can participate/work in the labs.

Some BPK Professors and labs that will be presenting include:

University of Western States Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Info Session

Interested in athletics but unsure where to take your career? The University of Western States is hosting a virtual info session and you’re invited!

Join us to learn about the Doctor of Chiropractic and concurrent MS Sports Medicine programs, application process and prerequisites.

BPK 101 NIGHT!!

Calling all first year BPK students! Come out on Thursday September 14th to BPK 101, an in-person event hosted for students interested in BPK!

It’s common for incoming students to be a little nervous or not know a ton of people within BPK when entering SFU, which is why we are hosting this fun event!

This is a great time to meet new people, play some fun games and learn more about the department. RSVP using this Google Form.

Further event details and instructions will be sent to those who RSVP! Meet in SSB 7172 at 4:45 pm. Participants will receive prizes, swag bags and food. We hope to see you there!

Calling all first year BPK students! Are you looking for a senior BPK mentor, someone who can help guide you to succeed in the BPK department? Someone to ask for advice and help when you need it?
